Part of a series of paintings inspired by the exhilaration I feel when I go back and visit the beautiful Croatian coastline where I grew up. The intense sunshine enhances the magic of the Adriatic sea colour palette. It can be truly breath-taking and I never get tired of it. When the sun shines, everything there becomes more saturated, more alive. This painting is a reminder of what it feels like to be carefree, calmed by a turquoise sea, yet energised by bright sunshine.
